This morning Roger was first awake and called out with "Trudi you got to take a look at this!" - we woke to a Winter Wonderland. There was snow everywhere and once again Roger and I quickly dressed and went out to photograph around our cabin for about an hour or so until we really needed a coffee to warm up. The cabin and surrounds looked so fantastic, we could not believe how lucky we were. There was so much wild life - we really liked the little Pademelons (they are like little Wallabies), very friendly and we could pat and feed them.
As you may have notice I took rather a fancy to the smaller things around the cabins - I loved the different varieties of moss, lichen and fungi. All my photos I like to shoot close and Roger said how can anyone see Tasmania the way I photograph but I did not want anyone to miss the small things and I did take some view shots.
This was our last day at the cabin and we were very sad to leave. I got a bit excited as The Rangers told us that the roads are all blocked - I thought great we can stay another night but and only AWD's and 4WD where allowed through, so Roger wanted to move on.
