Day 16 - Marulan NSW

On our way home we past through a tiny historic town called Marulan, which was established in the 1820's. This town is usually by-passed by people returning to Sydney via the Hume Highway but not Roger and I, we did not want to by-pass but photograph starting with The Royal Hotel, which was built in 1872 and the Original General Store that still had old advertising signs on the windows and side walls along with Mile stones out front.

Day 16 - The return Home after along trip - Tarago NSW

We left Canberra close to lunch time after looking at a few Photography Exhibitions and a Vietnamese lunch in Kingston. 40 mins out of Canberra and we were stopped by the barrenness of this little town called Tarago. This town is also home to the Loaded Dog Hotel which has been situated in the rural Tarago NSW since 1848 and named after Henry Lawsons famous story.
What we found interesting was the run down old railway station and spent a good hour taking some shots.

Day 14 & 15 Canberra ACT

We arrived at Burill late on Day 13 and stayed over night and drove into Canberra to stop in for The Australian Professional Photography Awards held at the National Museum. Later we met up with friends and celebrated with drinks by Canon. Thanks Canon! Sadly we did not take any photographs when we were in Canberra.. Sorry about that - next time:)

Day 13 - Bodalla NSW

As we travelled up the coast on our way back to Sydney we stopped again to photograph the churches in Bodalla.

Day 13 - Narooma NSW

After Wallaga Lake we drove back along the Princess Highway into Narooma. This little town I fell in love with - it had everything that you could want from a small town. We first photographed Narooma Inlet which was lined with seafood restaurants, wharfs and small boats. The tide was out so we had plenty of opportunity to walk around the sand and buildings to get some great shots - I even insisted that Roger had to be photographed here- it took some convincing but he eventually agreed. :))
We left the inlet to photograph the sea-side where we came across some hungry Lorikeets and even hungrier Seagulls plus another Photo Op of a fake Lighthouse.
