Day 6 - near Cranbrook TASMANIA

We left Campbell Town and drove down near Lake Leake towards Cranbrook, when we stoped at a look out type place where Roger and I could photograph a great view looking onto Freycinet's Hazzards. I was also lucky to find a nice old shed to photograph as well.

Day 6 - Campbell Town TASMANIA

As we left Hadspen and travelled down Highway 1 we stopped in at Campbell Town. First we were drawn to another old church call St. Andrews , which was erected in 1883 but as we drove through this Historic Town we stopped and photographed The Grange as well as the Historic Red Bridge.
Roger and I had fun doing this as a bunch of ducks thought Roger had food and flew in from no where (he got some great shots of the ducks landing) only to find out we only had cameras for offer, they soon had a group discussion and took off again.
I really liked the reeds here as well as they looked like they had woollen jackets on plus we meet a very friendly Shetland Pony who was also interested in our cameras. There is a close up of the pony's eye and you can see Roger and i taking photos in it.

Day 6 - Hadspen TASMANIA

It was dark when we arrived Friday night in a sleepy town named Hadspen. After a quick breakfast Roger and were on the road again but not before we checked out Hadspen. We found that Hadspen was a authentic and peaceful nineteeth century town full of lovely old buildings and sheds (love a good old shed), so roger and i spent about an hour photographing the main street as it was charming and the buildings were unchanged.

Day 5 - Hagley TASMANIA

After a long drive from Cradle Mountain the B34 lead us to a little church in Hagley. As the sun was finally trying to set when Roger wanted to photograph the little church settled among the cows and the trees. I still had a headache so I only took a few shots of the scenery because the sunset was making everything look like it was on fire.
We drove a bit further and settled for the night at Hadspen.

Day 5 - Westbury TASMANIA

After Promised Land we drove through Roland and West Kentish before we finally arrived at Sheffield for petrol. From Sheffield we drove through Stoodley, Kimberley, Moltema and into Elizabeth Town connected up to the B34 into Westbury. Unfortunately I had a very bad migraine and we did not stopped for photos for a while however this cute little town called Westbury I could not pass without a photo of this great shed.
As Roger says "It was very nice and would make a very nice spot for a picnic on a sunny day".

Day 5 - Promised Land TASMANIA

We left Round Hill Lookout and headed towards Sheffield to fill up the car with petrol and as we drove through Promised Land we stopped by the road for a quick photo of the Mt. Claude, where we had just left the lookout.
