Day 13 - Bombala NSW
After we left Cape Conran we drove to Cann River in Victoria and planned to stay over night at Point Hicks lighthouse but when we rang they were all booked up. Roger and I did not want to stay in Cann River as the whole town looked very dodgy, so we decided to drive to the next town with accommodation. The next town was across the boarder and into NSW where we stopped at a little town called Bombala, which is known as Platypus territory.
It was dark when we arrived and got what ever accommodation we could find and it just so happens to be what Roger claims as one of the worst we had stayed in. We left early in the morning and checked out the town only to find some photographic treats there as they have not done any work on the town for a long time. Our favourite was the Old Railway Station, which we spent close to an hour photographing. It was fabulous!
