Day 4 - Cradle Mountain TASMANIA
After preparing Pumpkin Soup and taking photos around our cabin, Roger and I finally got ready to go to visit the famous Cradle Mountain. First stop was the National Parks Information and by the time we got there the snow was really starting to fall very heavy. It took me over half an hour to get from the car park to Information Centre, as I wanted to photograph everything that snow had fallen on, poor Roger had to organise National Parks Passes all by himself as I was so occupied by the snow.
We eventually left the car park and head into Lake Clare National Park where our first stop was at a wonderful flowing river, where Roger and I took heaps of photographs - I think we were there about an hour or so.
Later we drove on to Dove Lake where you look over the lake for a perfect view of Cradle Mountain. Roger and I went for a walk through the National Park a bit and found wonderful rock formations that looked stunning against the trees and skies. We also came across a cute little old boatshed which Roger and I could not walk pass without another set of photographs needing to be taken. We had to stop our shooting short as it really started to bucket down with the biggest, softest snow flakes I have ever seen. Cradle Mountain was breath taking and I hope you like how I captured it for you.
