Day 4 - Lanceolata Cabin - Cradle Mountain TASMANIA

After our late arrival to our cabin, Roger and I were quiet tired and went to bed soon after eating dinner ready to wake up early for a sunrise at Dove Lake. I rose first and went to make coffee and was so excited to see it was snowing, I called out to Roger and he could not believe it because the night before we were saying "how disappointing that we have no snow". The early morning sunrise shots went out the window as Roger and I spent way to much time photographing around the cabin before it stopped snowing.
The cabin we stayed in I forgot to take photographs of as the scenery outside was breath taking. I strongly recommend anyone going to Tasmania should go in July and experience a Winter in Tasmania (it was not as cold as I thought it would be -thanks to thermals). We stayed at a place called The Highlanders right at the foot of Lake Clare (Cradle Mountain) National Park.
