Day 6 - Bicheno TASMANIA
As it was edging on to 2 pm and Roger and I were starting to get hungry, we decided a stop in at Bicheno was in order. After a quick toilet stop and again we were delayed because even around the toilet block was great to take pictures (and video). As Bicheno is situated on the sea, Roger and I decided Fish and Chips was in order and while Roger minded the car and gear I went and ordered us a feast to eat by the sea.
After getting our food we went to look for somewhere interesting to eat and we found The Bicheno Blow Hole, so after lunch we photographed around the Blow Hole for about an hour. It was great because all the rocks had orange lichen growing on them which I found fantastic to photograph. During my shoot I was accompanied by a shaggy stinky old dog, which I thought was still cute and it was nice to have someone there while I was shooting as Roger goes his own way when we get to locations - I suppose this way we get to photograph things from our own perspective rather than being influenced by one and other.
I highly recommend Bicheno as it was a great little seaside town - very cute!
