Day 6 - Freycinet TASMANIA
Freycinet was our last port of call for the day as we spent an un-expectant amount of time in Bicheno. Freycinet is known for it's Pink Granite Mountains, white sand beaches and seawater blue as sapphire but we arrived at Freycinet National Park just before closing as the sun was trying to set behind a very overcast day so we missed all the beautiful colour Freycinet had to offer.
Roger likes Lighthouses so that was where we drove to first to start our photography session. The views from the point were the least to say breath-taking, and there was a walkway that went around the edge of all the cliff faces that we could walk on and take shots.
After the lighthouse we went into Freycinet Resort and pretended we were guest and photographed from the wharf for some nice shots as the light was fading fast. For the very last bit of light we found a little beach and shot back so that the Hazzards where in the background.
When it was to dark to photograph much anymore we drove to the next suitable town that had Cabins, which was Swansea. After a great take away pizza, we settled into our cabin and was fast asleep by 9pm after another big day.
