Camogli Beach
We originally had plans to spend the day at the beach in Arenzano, but all the beach deck chairs were all reserved and the public area was crowded and well it was like sitting in a carpark. So we decided to go back to Camogli. It took about an hour in the train to get there. When we arrived the beach was closed to swimming because of these huge waves. We set up camp near all the fishing boats in a protected area and it was lovely out of the wind. Trudi bought the kids a fishing net and they spent the rest of the day trying to catch fish and crabs. They had a fantastic time and made friends with some Italian kids while Trudi and I sat outside the Taverna in the sun drinking beer and eating snacks. By the time dinner time came around Trudi and I were quite smashed.
