We were lucky enough to arrive in in Sienna on one of the flag waving days that lead up to the spectacular horse race around the Piazza that Sienna is famous for. The town was alive with excitement and we were caught up in it. We watched a parade of floats with crazy characters with spectacular costumes. It was a fun day.
